There will be no game at Boundary Park again this weekend
OLDHAM Athletic's scheduled home game with Leyton Orient on Saturday has been postponed after a Covid outbreak in the Latics camp.
It is the second consecutive postponement for the club after last weekend's visit of Sutton United was called off less than two hours before kick-off due to a waterlogged pitch.
Latics had been able to fulfil their festive fixtures when many had fallen foul of coronavirus.
But a number of players have this week tested positive, and combined with injury absences the club contacted the English Football League today to inform them they would struggle to field a team.
