LEYTON Orient are allowing Oldham Athletic fans to pay on the day, in a triumph for the Latics' faithful.
Oldham yesterday suspended matchday ticket sales for non-season ticket holders for Saturday's trip to Brisbane Road, as well as next weekend's visit of Hartlepool United, and in addition suspended season ticket sales until further notice, in response to both recent and planned future protests against the ownership.
Supporters were eagerly awaiting an update from Leyton Orient as to whether they would have on-the-day access to the 500 ticket allocation.
And this afternoon The O's confirmed they would welcome away fans.
A ticketing update on the club's official website read: "Oldham fans can purchase via the Away Ticket Office on Brisbane Road from 1pm, we strongly advise Oldham supporters to arrive early to avoid queues as there will be limited staff serving in the Away Ticket Office."
Leyton Orient are a cashless stadium and will only be accepting card payment.
