Oldham Athletic will go head to head with former boss Richie Wellens’ Leyton Orient in the FA Cup second round.
It is another step up in opposition, with a trip to the League One team reward for their comeback first round win against League Two Tranmere Rovers.
Manager Micky Mellon was given a terrific reception from the home supporters at Prenton Park, where he served as both player and manager.
And the round two draw has thrown up similar connections, with Leyton Orient boss Wellens having played for and managed Latics.
Right back Jake Caprice, who won promotion with Tranmere under Mellon, also had a year at Leyton Orient before his move to Merseyside, while Otis Khan spent the second half of the 2021/22 season at Brisbane Road.
The full draw for the FA Cup second round is as follows:
Salford City v Cheltenham Town
Walsall v Charlton Athletic
Exeter City v Chesterfield
Leyton Orient v Oldham Athletic
Barnsley v Bristol Rovers
AFC Wimbledon v Dagenham & Redbridge
Accrington Stanley v Swindon Town
