Oldham Athletic are ball number 51 in tonight's FA Cup first round draw.

The draw takes place at Bradford City's University of Bradford Stadium, formerly Valley Parade, at 7pm, with the Bantams one of 48 teams from League One and League Two entering the competition.

The draw will be broadcast live on BBC Two.

Latics are one of 32 non-league clubs who have earned their place in the first round proper, thanks to Saturday's 4-2 win over rivals Halifax Town in their fourth qualifying round tie.

The first-round ties are scheduled to take place between Friday, November 1, and Monday, November 4. The six replays from Saturday’s qualifying round will take place tomorrow (Tuesday, October 15).

Asked if he had any preference when it came to the opposition, manager Micky Mellon said: "I would take anybody. Everywhere will be a challenge, but certainly one that we believe we're ready for.

"It would be great to get a Football League club and go and see where we're up to.

"Now we've got to that first round proper it gets to that exciting stage, so I'm pleased about that.

"But in between now and the next round we've got loads of league games coming up, a lot of travelling, but we'll see who we get."

Meanwhile, Oldham Athletic's Under 18s are in action in the FA Youth Cup tonight when they take on South Shields at Boundary Park (kick-off 7pm).

Nicky Adams’ side progressed after beating AFC Liverpool on penalties, after their second round qualifier ended in a 2-2 draw.

South Shields are in the same league as Latics and sit third in the table, one place ahead of Adams' men having played a game more.

Admission for tonight's game costs £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.
