Reagan Ogle has become recognised for his menacingly mammoth throw-ins, but he let his feet do the talking in Latics' latest win.

The defender delivered the cross that Mike Fondop leapt spectacularly to head past Yeovil goalkeeper Ollie Wright and secure back-to-back wins for the second time this season.

And the Australian was delighted to show he can be a two-pronged source of attack as Oldham maintained their position in the play-off positions at the 10-game mark.

"I said to the boys it was a nice change that I had an assist with my feet and not just the throw-in this time. But it's good to have both," smiled Ogle.

"I don't normally pull out a cross like that too often so it was nice that Mikey tucked it away. I'm pleased with it.

"I probably do a better cross when I don't think about it. It was just a good touch and well worked and had the space and I put it in the area hoping one of them was there and Mikey turned up and put it in the back of the net."

And Ogle felt Latics were full value for the three points, which stretched their unbeaten run to six games ahead of Tuesday night's visit of high flying Forest Green Rovers.

"I reckon in the first half both teams were probably in the game, they had a couple of chances and we had more than enough chances but unfortunately didn't take them," he said.

"But in the second half we just came out and it's safe to say we got a run all over them, we had all the chances in a sense and it was good that we took one at the end.

"We've put our best foot forward going into the game on Tuesday. It's going to be a tough game, we know that, but we're up for it and that's all that matters."
