Oldham Athletic's pre-season schedule has been finalised, and will include a training camp in Scotland.

Micky Mellon's squad will be based at the University of St Andrew's from July 8-12, returning on the eve of their first pre-season friendly, at home to Stockport County (kick-off 3pm).

Fitness will be prioritised during that week away, with the players being put through a thorough training programme with conditioning, and work on the pitch.

The University is home to some of the best sports facilities in Scotland, with six football pitches along with a strength and conditioning suite, gym and fitness equipment, video analysis and meeting rooms.

The setting will provide the location for intensive daily double training sessions and gym work. No fixtures will take place during the camp.

However, the last of their seven pre-season friendlies has been confirmed, with a trip to National League North side Warrington Town on July 30 (kick-off 7.45pm).
