Goal machine Liam Ellis and Geffry Ebhote have confirmed they will be back at Avro for the upcoming season, writes Rob Currell.
Striker Ellis, who can also plays on the wing, started his current stint at Avro four years ago.
This was after playing for the side in the Manchester League when he was 18.
His last move came after stints at Mossley, Trafford and Radcliffe.
Ellis is a proven goal scorer whose re-signing should cause excitement for our fanbase.
“I am staying because I love being at the club and everyone involved at Avro are top people,” said the striker.
Ebhote, who has been at the club since the summer of 2022, has also agreed a new deal with the club.
Ebhote who has played in teams from Italy to Stockport said he was looking forward to the new season.
“I’ve decided to stay because it is a great club,” said Ebhote.
“It’s a great environment to play here and the people are fantastic.
“I also enjoy the mentality in the changing room and I have some awesome teammates.
“It is a great place to be.”
Geffrey added that his fondest memory was being a part of the winning team against Lincoln United for promotion in 2023.
