The 2024/2025 pre-season campaign has been announced for Avro Football Club, writes Rob Currell.

Avro had previously announced their match against Rochdale and have now added several more fixtures to the schedule

The club’s pre-season will officially start on July 6 with a trip to Wales as The RO take on Holywell Town at the Achieve More Training Stadium (kick-off 3pm).

A couple of home fixtures will then be on the cards with Avro initially hosting Chadderton on July 13, (kick-off 3pm) before the club welcome Guiseley AFC on Wednesday, July 17, (kick-off 7.45pm).

The squad will be back on the road for a trip to Abbey Hey on July 20 at Abbey Stadium, (kick-off 3pm).

Avro will host Curzon Ashton at the Vestacare Stadium on July 27, (kick-off 3pm) before wrapping up their pre-season with a home night time fixture against Rochdale on July 30, (kick-off 7.45pm).

“We are looking forward to an exciting pre-season programme and can’t wait to see the fans witnessing our squad in action,” said a spokesman from the club.
