Brennan Dickenson has joined Hartlepool United on loan until the end of the season.
The former Colchester and Carlisle United midfielder signed on a free transfer in the summer but has been beset by injuries and struggled for game time in recent months.
The 30-year-old has not featured for Latics since the FA Cup first round defeat at Newport County on November 4.
