Ben Tollitt has agreed a loan move from Oldham Athletic to Kidderminster Harriers until January.

The winger joined Latics after a successful trial in the summer of 2022 and was top scorer in his first season.

He earned a one-year contract extension in his first year at Boundary Park too, taking him to the summer of 2024.

But the 28-year-old has struggled for regular game time this season, making just five appearances in the league.

"Ben needs to go out and play," manager Micky Mellon told The Oldham Times.

"If the opportunity's there for the lads to go and play first team football and they're not getting that with us we have to let them know that.

"At the minute Ben will go down to Kidderminster and play and we'll see where that goes over the coming days, weeks, months.

"I'm happy to say Ben wanted to play football, which is good. I want everyone to be able to play.

"There's not been any fall-out or disagreement, nothing at all. It was just about a lad looking for an opportunity to go and play football and us saying 'Yes, I think that's a good opportunity for you to do that'.

"I like the fact that players want to go and play, I think it's good."
