Lois Maynard has joined Northern Premier League top flight side Radcliffe following his departure from Boundary Park.
The versatile midfielder was one of nine players released by Latics in the club's retained list along with the likes of Jordan Clarke, Chris Porter and Zaine Francis-Angol.
Maynard made 10 appearances in total this season, most recently in the 4-1 defeat against Notts County on Boxing Day.
He was part of the Salford squad that won the National League play-offs in 2019 and also had success with Stockport three years later.
The 34-year-old becomes one of the first new additions at Radcliffe since the appointment of Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley as first-team managers. The pair succeed Bobby Grant in the hot seat at Stainton Park.
The club finished seventh in the table this season - missing out on a play-off spot by a couple of points after failing to win any of their final seven league matches.
Radcliffe also brought in former Warrington Rylands defender Scott Duxbury last week, who previously had spells with the likes of Flyde, Chorley and Spennymoor Town.
