Oldham Athletic have completed the signing of Devarn Green on a deal until the end of the season.
Green spent time at Burton Albion and Blackburn Rovers as a youngster and went on to have stints at Hednesford Town and Stourbridge in non-league.
His performances earned a move to Tranmere Rovers in 2017, but he failed to establish himself in the first team.
The pacy winger then made the move to Southport, making more than 60 appearances during a two-year spell at Haig Avenue.
Green also had a spell at Scunthorpe United and was a regular starter on the wing during the 2021/22 season.
The 26-year-old joined Telford United in March 2022 but has been out of the reckoning lately after reportedly asking for a move away from the National League North club.
"I'm delighted to get the deal over the line and can't wait to get started. I tend to play on the wing, I like to get at players and hopefully I can bring a lot to the team,” he told the club’s website.
Latics are back in action on Saturday afternoon when they welcome Maidstone United to Boundary Park (3pm).
David Unsworth’s men currently sit 19th in the National League table – three points above the drop zone at this stage.
