Latics have confirmed that Will Sutton has been recalled from his loan at Radcliffe.
The young defender was scheduled to spent a month with the Northern Premier League top flight side.
An official statement read: “The club would like to put on record their thanks to Radcliffe for their co-operation and understanding in allowing Will to return, and wish them all the best for the season.”
Sutton made his Latics debut against Bradford in November 2020 and has played 12 first-team matches in total.
He also spent time on loan at Witton Albion last season, making 19 appearances for the club, before joining National League North outfit Farsley Celtic.
The 20-year-old has had his opportunities limited this season after suffering a long-term injury in the summer.
Meanwhile, Latics’ league fixture against Gateshead has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 14.
The match was originally due to take place on Tuesday, December 20 but it was postponed to make way for the FA Trophy tie against Peterborough Sports.
Any tickets purchased for the original fixture remain valid, while refunds are available for supporters who cannot attend the new date. Anyone wanting to claim a refund should contract the ticket office at supporter.services@oldhamathletic.co.uk.
Gateshead are currently 20th in the National League table – only above Latics on goal difference at this stage.
