Former Oldham Athletic striker Zak Dearnley has joined Guiseley.
The 24-year-old, who left Boundary Park by mutual consent last January, becomes new Lions boss Paul Phillips’ first signing for the club since he took over from Danny Ellis at the end of November.
The Sheffield-born forward began his career with Manchester United, and during the 2018-19 season under Jose Mourinho, trained with the club’s senior squad in the build-up to their Champions League tie with Juventus.
He joined Latics on loan in January 2019, making a goalscoring debut the following month in a 3-0 win over Crawley Town.
Dearnley's loan ended in late April due to injury, and he left United that summer following the end of his contract, returning to Latics in January 2020.
Since leaving Boundary Park, Dearnley has signed for FC Halifax Town in the National League, Buxton in National League North and Northern Premier League side Liversedge.
