Latics have completed the signing of goalkeeper Magnus Norman following his departure from Carlisle United.
Norman has put pen to paper over a one-year contract at Boundary Park as the club aims to bounce back from last season's relegation to the National League.
The 25-year-old - who has been capped by England at Under-18 level - came through the ranks at Fulham and went on to have loan spells with Rochdale, Southport and Farnborough.
He joined Carlisle on a free transfer in the summer of 2020, making 14 league appearances in total for the Brunton Park club.
Norman was searching for a new club after opting to turn down a new deal with the Blues.
Manager John Sheridan said: “Magnus is a very good goalkeeper who will make sure we have genuine competition in that position this season.
“He has always impressed when playing for Carlisle, he is a very mature goalkeeper and has a good amount of experience at a number of levels.
“He’s got a great stature, is a very commanding presence and I believe we will see him thrive in an Oldham shirt.”
