One of Oldham's key roads is expected to see disruption for six weeks in the new year as structural investigations take place.
Oldham Council has announced that starting on Monday, January 13 next year, one lane in each direction of the A62 Oldham Way will be closed for six weeks.
According to the council, this is so "structural investigations" can take place on the flyover.

The lane closures will be in place from the Union Street footbridge to the end of the flyover.
The council says this is in an effort to minimise disruption and keep traffic moving.

Motorists are being warned to plan their journeys accordingly during the six-week period.
Oldham Way has been the subject of works and temporary closures for nearly two years.
