A man was taken to hospital after a car crash involving two vehicles on a road in Oldham.
The emergency services were on Shaw Road at around 8.30pm yesterday (December 3).
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said a man was taken to hospital after a car crash involving two vehicles.
A post on social media by Greater Manchester Police said the road was shut on the short stretch between Arnold Street and Egerton Street.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: "At around 8.30pm, crews were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Shaw Road. One fire engine from Oldham Fire Station attended the incident which involved two cars.
"Crews helped to make the area safe before handing the scene over to Greater Manchester Police (GMP). One man was taken to hospital by North West Ambulance Service (NWAS). Crews were at the incident for around 20 minutes."
The Oldham Times asked GMP and NWAS for a comment.
