A busy road in Oldham was closed by police this morning after a person was hit by a car.
Greater Manchester Police said they responded to the incident at around 8.10am this morning (December 3).
The force said they had received reports of a pedestrian having been struck by a car.
The road was closed for a period this morning but police say it has now reopened.
The injuries sustained by the pedestrian are not believed to be serious.
Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 8.10am this morning, we responded to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Middleton Road, Royton.
"Thankfully, the injuries are not believed to be serious.
"The road has now been re-opened."
The Oldham Times has contacted North West Ambulance Service and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service for comment and will update this article with their responses.
