Drivers in and around Oldham will have four road closures to be aware of over the next two weeks.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• A663, from 9pm November 5 to 5am December 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A663 both directions A627(M) to Semple Way - mobile hard shoulder closure for barrier/fence safety repairs.

Of the two new closures, one began yesterday and is set to last three months, with motorists facing possible delays of up to 30 minutes:
• A627(M), from 8pm December 2 2024 to 6am February 28 2025, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A663 both directions Semple Way to A627M - carriageway closure for electrical works.

The other new closure is set to begin next week:
• A627(M), from 9pm December 14 to 5am December 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A627M northbound, J1 to J1 - carriageway closure for barriers - permanent on behalf of National Highways.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
