If you're looking to catch a glimpse of your local football team playing on TV, three pubs in Oldham are now able to answer your prayers.

Proper Pubs, which runs more than 200 pubs across England, Scotland and Wales, has become the first pub company in the country to roll out Sky Q across its entire estate, giving its public houses access to a new Sky Sports+ channel and app.

This means as many as 56 pubs will be the first to install Sky Q in the north west, giving sports fans unparalleled access to their favourite, local sports teams.

The pubs benefitting from the new deal will have a choice of up to 100 live events, including Championship, League One and League Two football so fans can watch their favourite team on Sky Sports at least 20 times this season and enjoy 50 per cent more live sport this year.

Proper Pubs say this will give venues more flexibility and choice to browse, discover and show the sport that matters most to their customers.
