Plans have been submitted seeking permission to build three houses on grounds in Saddleworth.
The proposal looks to develop the new homes on the grounds of Fernthorpe Hall and Hawthorpe Hall, accessed via a private road off Church Road in Uppermill.
The grounds of the two halls make up two separate parcels of land which are joined by a shared access road.

According to a design and access statement submitted by HNA Architects on behalf of the applicant, the proposal is to build three self-build houses on the sites.
Details about the designs of the proposed homes have not been submitted, with HNA Architects saying they would be submitted in a separate application should outline planning permission be given.
The plans do lay out how considerations have been taken to ensure the new homes would not impact the amenities of the current residents or disrupt the settings of the existing buildings.

Fernthorpe Hall is currently a property divided into three flats which are rented out as holiday lets, while HNA Architects say Hawthorpe Hall makes up two separate residential houses.
Each of the three homes would have three parking spaces and would provide "high-quality family housing".
Planning documents for the application were submitted on Friday, November 8.
