All of these cases involving people from Oldham have been before the magistrates in the last fortnight.
A man who took a cherry picker without consent and the drove it in Oldham while drunk has been sentenced.
Liam Merritt, of Glenridding Close, Higginshaw, was in Oldham on March 27 when he took the cherry picker, which belonged to Lansdowne Roofing Supplies, without permission.
The 38-year-old then drove the cherry picker through Chadderton, including on Garforth Road.
When stopped by police, Merritt was found to be over the drink driving limit with 70 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath in his system, when the legal limit is 35 micrograms, placing him twice over the limit.
Merritt was also found to be in possession of cocaine and he assaulted a male police officer.
He appeared at Tameside Magistrates' Court on November 11 after having pleaded guilty to taking a conveyance without consent, driving a vehicle over the legal alcohol limit, possession of a Class A drug and common assault of an emergency worker.
Merritt was handed a 12 week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and was ordered to attend 15 days of rehabilitation activity requirement and to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work.
He was also made to pay compensation of £50, a victim surcharge of £154 and further costs of £85.

A man who committed a number of thefts and assaulted a woman has been spared jail.
Frank Rowell, of Pearl Mill Close, Oldham, committed his first of four thefts on April 20, when he stole between £90 and £100 worth of chocolates from the One Stop Shop on Lees Road.
The 53-year-old then committed two further thefts at the same shop on April 27 and 29, when he stole between £240 and £300 worth of chocolates and coffee.
On May 1, Rowell was being held by police in Stockport having been charged with theft when he refused to provide a sample for a Class A drugs test.
Rowell's further offences took place on September 18, when he stole £60 worth of goods from a Boots shop in Oldham and assaulted a woman in the borough.
At Tameside Magistrates' Court on November 8, Rowell was sentenced for four counts of theft, one count of assault by beating and one count of a detainee refusing to provide a sample for a Class A drug.
He was handed a 18-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, and has been banned from entering the One Stop Shop on Lees Road for a year.
Rowell was also ordered to pay £100 in compensation to the woman he assaulted.

A woman who assaulted two police officers in Wales has been sentenced.
Leonie Mills-Cohen, of Oldham Road, Shaw, was in Llanddulas, North Wales, on May 6 when she assaulted one male and one female police officer.
The 34-year-old pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting an emergency worker and was sentenced at Tameside Magistrates' Court on November 11.
Mills-Cohen was handed a community order, requiring her to attend 20 days of rehabilitation activity requirement and to pay £120 in fines and £50 in compensation.
