A shops unit in Oldham which has planning permission to be converted into an eight-bed house in multiple occupation (HMO) has gone up for sale.
In summer last year, an application to transform two former shops on Huddersfield Road into HMOs was submitted, which blueprints show will have four separate en-suite bedrooms.
The adjacent addresses at 181 and 183 Huddersfield Road, next to a William Hill betting shop, previously operated as shops before falling vacant.

A planning officer from the council felt the change of use from shops to residential properties was appropriate and that the removal of the shop fronts was more in keeping with the intended use of the building.
The site sits in close proximity to Derker Metrolink stop and is just a short walk away from a Tesco Extra.
The plans further showed each property would have an en-suite bedroom, shared lounge and shared kitchen on the ground floor, two en-suite bedrooms on the first floor and a landing and single en-suite bedroom on the second floor.
According to the planning officer, the bedrooms will be of a "suitable size" for future occupiers and was subsequently approved by the council in June last year.
Now, the "shell" of the double-fronted property is up for sale with an asking price of £180,000 and is earmarked as "development potential".
Brought by Kirkham Property, the building is described as an "excellent investment opportunity" being a "blank canvas" for development.
It includes a "spacious" rear car park/yard and comes with full planning permission for the eight-bed HMO over two units across three floors.

Each of the units has an accessible area in the basement for storage.
The listing also states the property could be converted back to shops or other commercial units "if desired".
It adds: "This property would be perfectly suited for developers or investors looking to capitalize on the high-traffic location and residential or commercial demand."
