A primary school received a visit from a group who decorate the community with crochet creations.
Friezland Primary School welcomed Alicia Marland and Barbara Beeley from Saddleworth Yarn Bombing on Tuesday, November 5.
The group are known for their crochet decorations, including post box toppers, Remembrance poppies, and other tributes.
The visit was organised by teacher Julie Power, who wanted the children to learn about the group's history and their creations.
Ms Power said: "It was wonderful for the children to be able to learn of all the hard work that goes into the beautiful creations that brighten the whole of our community across Saddleworth.
"They thoroughly enjoyed learning more about how the decorations, that they frequently notice appearing across the villages, are made.
"We’d like to say a huge thank you to Alicia and Barbara for kindly giving up their time to visit us and thank you to the whole Saddleworth Yarn Bombing group for always brightening our community and making us smile with their fantastic work."
The visit provided an opportunity for the children to understand the effort and creativity behind the decorations that they often see around their community.
