A woman in her 30s has been found dead after a fire ripped through a home in Middleton in the early hours of yesterday morning.
At approximately 4.22am on Sunday (November 10), emergency services were called to reports of a house fire on Round Thorn Road in Middleton.
As many as five fire engines from Middleton, Chadderton, Blackley, Phillips Park and Manchester Central battled the blaze.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed a woman in her 30s was found dead inside the home and an investigation is now underway to establish the circumstances around her death.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "At 4:22am on Sunday we were called to reports of a fire at a house on Roundthorn Road, Middleton.
"Emergency services attended, and sadly a woman in her 30s was found inside the house deceased.
"An investigation is underway to establish the circumstances."
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service area manager, Lee Coleman, said: “At around 4.20am on Sunday, five fire engines from Middleton, Chadderton, Blackley, Phillips Park and Manchester Central fire stations attended a house fire on Roundthorn Road, Middleton.
“Crews wearing breathing apparatus arrived quickly and used four hose reel jets and one nine-metre ladder to extinguish the fire."
