More than a dozen police cars were seen on a street in Oldham town centre yesterday as officers attended a 'mental health issue'.
At approximately 12.50pm on Saturday (November 9), police were called to St Mary's Way, opposite Tommyfield Market in Oldham, to reports of a mental health concern.
Witnesses estimate there were about 13 police cars called to the incident.
There were no injuries reported in the ordeal and safeguarding referrals have since been made.

Greater Manchester Police also confirmed its officers attended the scene and that no arrests were made.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Looks like it was a mental health issue.
"Officers attended but no arrests were made, no one was injured, safeguarding referrals have been made."
