A popular Oldham pub that's "got a bit for everyone" has reopened its doors following a six-figure refurbishment.
The Summit Inn, which sits on the Oldham-Rochdale border on Rochdale Road, welcomed some guests back in over the weekend ahead of its official reopening Monday (November 4).
This comes after the pub closed down for nearly two weeks so work to improve the pub could be done, and now the end product can be seen and enjoyed by pubgoers.
Mike McCracken, general manager at The Summit Inn, said: "[We] feel very fortunate given the current times in hospitality how some places have been struggling that we've had a six-figure investment here at the Summit.
"We've gone for roadside appeal - making the outside area much more inviting, improved seating and inside we've really brightened the place up, opened it up a bit and just made it more friendly and inviting."
As well as the improvements to the outside, the pub has undergone major roof works and has seen the addition of a new darts area, with Mr McCracken saying the pub would get a darts team going.
When asked what keeps people coming back to The Summit Inn, Mr McCracken said: "We've got a bit for everyone - we get lovely families coming but we can also cater to the football crowds, quiz-goers and people who like live entertainment as well."
The pub also serves a wide range of foods, with starters including nachos, chicken wings and tacos, as well as main courses including burgers, meats, desserts and a roast on a Sunday.
There are great deals available as well, including 'buy one get one free' for burgers on Thursdays and two selected mains for £13.49 from Monday to Friday.
Mr McCracken concluded by saying: "There's a lot to keep people in here and just the general vibe here, we've got a really nice community so we feel very fortunate to be in the community that we're in."
