Residents were dazzled as Oldham's skies were lit up with a fantastic firework display as residents celebrated Bonfire Night.
After 11 years of the Big Bang Bonfire being held at Oldham Edge Playing Fields, it was revealed in recent months that the event would not go ahead, with an evening of entertainment, crafts and fireworks in the town centre instead.
And residents were not left disappointed as a variety of bright and colourful fireworks were followed by the 'oohs' and 'aahs' of the crowd.

Crowds gathered in Parliament Square and Market Place to watch the fireworks, with Oldhamers coming out in huge numbers to pack out the town centre.
The dazzling display above Oldham Parish Church saw the sky coloured with bright flashes and loud bangs with fireworks of all shapes and sizes set off.
Siblings Finley, Phoebe and Noah, along with their mum Jenny, said they still enjoyed the display despite missing the usual event at Oldham Edge.
Meanwhile, siblings and cousins Gracie, Khyla, Riley and Amber said they enjoyed the display as they set off sparklers on Market Place.
The evening got going at around 4pm, with performers strolling around the town centre while people could enjoy arts and crafts in Spindles Shopping Centre and Tommyfield Market.
Speaking on the stage before the fireworks display began, Oldham Council leader Arooj Shah thanked residents for coming out in huge numbers.
