A man riding his electric bike in the Derker area of Oldham was robbed 'at knifepoint'.

At around midday on Monday (November 4), a 49-year-old man was riding his legal Sun-Ron electric bike on Acton Street when it was stolen at knifepoint, according to police.

Greater Manchester Police was called to the area and patrols recovered another e-bike for forensic examination that had been left at the scene by another man.

The force said the victim sustained no serious injuries in the ordeal and no arrests have been made at this stage.

Oldham officers are now appealing to members of the public to assist with their investigation.

GMP would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the bike (pictured above) in the area yesterday which was stolen by force.

Officers would also like to speak to the person who is also pictured.
