With today (Tuesday, November 5) being Bonfire Night, many Oldham residents will be aware that the Big Bang Bonfire is not being held this year.
Instead, a new event called the Family Firework Evening is being held to keep Oldhamers dazzled.
Here is everything you need to know about what's happening tonight.
What is the Family Firework Evening?
There will be no bonfire event at Oldham Edge Playing Fields this year, however there will still be a fireworks display.
There will be entertainment, including performers strolling around, and crafts sessions for all to enjoy before the display itself gets going.
When is it?
Things will get going at 4pm, with the fireworks display set to take place at 6pm.
