Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously injured in Rochdale last night (1 November 2024).
At around 11pm, it is believed that three vehicles were travelling together along Yorkshire Street.
A crash occurred with a 42-year-old male who was attempting to cross the road. He was left with serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Two men were subsequently arrested at the scene under suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
They remain in custody for questioning.
A third vehicle involved failed to stop and officers are currently searching for the vehicle and driver.
Investigators are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to please come forward.
This includes anyone with relevant dashcam, CCTV, mobile, or doorbell footage from the area and captures any of the incident.
Two of the vehicles suspected of being involved are a blue Mercedes and silver Mini Cooper.
