There is already an anti-social behaviour problem at a park which is a part of a multi-million-pound development in Chadderton.
The park within the Broadway Green development has had damage caused to it according to police.
The work on the open space has been ongoing since the start of this year and it is due to be completed by the spring of next year as a part of the wider work on hundreds of homes and a number of commercial units including an Aldi and a Costa Coffee.
According to the post on social media by the police they are aware of the anti-social behaviour problem.
The post this week said: "Officers will provide a presence in the area to provide reassurance to residents."
