Oldham town centre's popular nightclub has revealed an impressive line-up for the end of the year with famous DJs, fire breathers and a return to 'Clubland classics' all on the cards.

Liquid and Envy nightclub on Retiro Street, Oldham's only nightclub in the town centre, narrowly avoided permanent closure this year.

The adored venue shut down in February for a few weeks before springing its doors back open again when a new lease pumped life back into the club.

Kevin Spencer, who has three decades of experience in running nightclubs and bars, came to an agreement with the landlord after learning about Liquid and Envy's closure.

Since then, the club has bounced back, holding many successful nights for revellers in the town including a popular over 30s daytime disco in early summer.

Now, in keeping with its resurgence, the club has announced an impressive and hefty line-up to keep the town entertained and dancing the nights away this December with some big names set to make an appearance.

Kicking off the fun, Basshunter, a Swedish singer, record producer, songwriter and DJ, will be bringing his electropop, bass and euro-heavy dance beats to the club on Friday, December 6.

The club said the night is sure to be "electrifying" when Basshunter takes to the stage at Liquid & Envy in what will be an "unforgettable" performance.

Then, on Saturday, December 31, Clubland will be live from the nightclub, featuring some top performers and songs of the early to late 2000s, including Ultrabeat, Flip & Fill, Michelle from Platinum, Loveshy, H20 and more.

The night will be hosted by Keyes and other supporting acts.

If that's not enough, there will also be dancers, fire breathers, walkers on stilts and more as Liquid and Envy said: "We have it all".

Finally, just after Christmas on Thursday, December 26, British DJ, rapper, singer and music producer, Tom Zanetti, will be performing at the club.

In this Boxing Day special, Tom Zanetti will be coming straight from his European tour to land at Liquid and Envy.

The club said this will also make for an incredible night, after the DJ sold out events at Ibiza Rocks, Zante and Napa, adding: "The Leeds lad will be performing all his biggest hits in our arena."

Tickets for all three events are still available, including early bird access from £3 via Fatsoma.

After early bird tickets are sold out, tickets start from £5 and go up to £8, including a free drink, or between £80 to £110 for five guests, a booth, a bottle of AU vodka and a round of shots.

This is slightly more expensive for Basshunter where the booth offers start from £75 to £125.
