With multiple periods of work set to impact the Oldham and Rochdale Metrolink line over the coming month, we've created a list of disruptions to be aware of.

There's nothing worse than getting on a tram, only to find out it's been impacted by maintenance work and isn't going where you need it to.

Works over multiple weekends this month could catch a few people by surprise, especially with the Manchester Christmas Markets up and running soon.

Sunday, November 10

For those going a little further than the city centre, almost all trams will see a service change through Manchester.

The changes are due to various Remembrance Sunday events being held.

From start of service until 10am, no trams will operate through Exchange Square and the Oldham and Rochdale line will run through Market Street.

From 10am until 12.30pm, no trams will run through St Peter’s Square and Oldham and Rochdale trams will terminate at Exchange Square.

After 12.30pm until the end of service, trams on the Rochdale line will resume to normal routes.

Sunday, November 17

From the start of the service until 10am, no trams will be running through Victoria to allow for works on a pedestrian walkway between Corporation Street and Victoria and renewal of the overhead wires between Victoria and Queens Road.

Oldham and Rochdale trams will terminate at Monsall and trams from East Didsbury, which usually run to Oldham and Rochdale, will end at Exchange square.

A bus replacement service will be in place from Monsall to Victoria until 11am.

Sunday, November 25

Works will continue on the pedestrian walkway between Corporation Street and Victoria on this date.

This time, Oldham and Rochdale services will end at Victoria, with East Didsbury trams terminating at Exchange Square meaning it is only three minute walk to connect with the second half of the line.
