A child was taken to hospital after being hit by a car near Alexandra Park yesterday (Sunday, October 27).
Greater Manchester Police confirmed that they were called to a crash on Kings Road, just next to the park, at 12.40pm.
The child was taken to hospital with injuries which are not said to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Police confirmed that no arrests were made.
North West Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
