This is the moment a group of teenagers 'vandalise' a home in Oldham by throwing tins of beans in suspected Halloween antics.

In the early hours of Saturday (October 26), Ring doorbell footage shows a group of around five youngsters walking up and down Sharples Hall Street in Waterhead at 6.23am.

The group, seemingly all girls, could be seen huddling on the street in the footage while they discussed something inaudible.

Some were wearing big coats and had hoods covering their heads as they walked up and down the street.

One wearing a large reflective coat appears to point at a house but it is unclear what they are saying.

Although dark, it looks as though at least two members of the group are clutching the suspected tins of beans.

More than 10 minutes later at 6.34am, a member of the group appears to have put on a cowboy-style hat, suggesting they might have been dressing up for Halloween.

The group initially walk away from the house for a few seconds but then make a speedy return.

The girl with the hat seems to hold a torch up so the 'vandals' could see their 'target' in the dark.

The footage then shows the girls launching open tins of beans at the windows which splat against the wall and pour down the camera.

After throwing the produce, the girl with the hat could be heard shouting "go".

As the girls giggle and run away, another member of the group throws a second can which then clangs to the ground.

Photographs in the aftermath of the attack show the beans had been launched at a window of a home on the end of a row of terraced homes.

The orange mess splattered across the window and the wall as beans dripped down from the window sills and bricks to the front garden.

The footage, which has been shared on social media, has prompted outrage from other residents with others claiming other houses had also suffered a hit from the 'beans bandits' on nearby Herbert Street.

A woman wrote: "No need at all. These look like absolute delights" while another said: "What a joke, don't get why people are laughing at this, it's vile".

A third said the group looked similar to the ones who had knocked on her door trick or treating.

The resident has been contacted for comment.
