A search has been launched to trace the whereabouts of a man who is wanted in connection with a 'firearms incident' in Oldham this weekend.
On Friday, October 25, Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a 'firearms incident' near Raleigh Close at 9.30pm.
Detectives found "castings" and believe the incident was "targeted" with no wider risk to the public.

Residents in Coldhurst woke up on Saturday morning to see alleyways and streets surrounding the estate were cordoned off by police.
The cordon stretched from Cunningham Way to Crompton Street while residents said a hive of police activity was coming in and out of a property in the area.
Others said they heard a police helicopter fly overhead late on Friday night.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed there were no serious injuries and no injuries at all sustained in the incident.
The force is now appealing to the public to help trace a man from Oldham but has warned people not to approach him.
Lee James Platt is wanted in connection with the firearms offence.
The 38-year-old reportedly has links to Newton Heath and Rochdale.
A statement by police added: "Do not approach him and any details please call 999 or 0161 856 8962."
