A couple from Oldham who make 'delicious' homecooked food including Caribbean meals and 'old school cakes' have opened a unique family-friendly cafe.
Owners, Olivia Jagger and Liam Henderson, took over the former Pelican Cafe in Ashton Road to create something different in Oldham that they hope will be of huge benefit to the community.
The pair spent months bringing Delicious Bakes to life before it could officially open its doors to the public as of October 14 this year.

Olivia, who was a full-time senior care worker, said they "ripped the place apart", renovating it from top to bottom over the course of three months and "a lot of late nights".
The couple, who have two children aged three and one, also felt passionate about creating a safe space for other parents to come and "not feel judged".
The 30-year-old added: "I want parents and grandparents to be out socialising, as mental health is a big stigma in this generation.
"We just wanted somewhere to open where they can get good food, a safe place and somewhere that's child friendly.
"It's been gutted with all new flooring, stairs, new catering equipment and a children's play area, to create a whole new vibe.
"We also use local suppliers to keep local businesses thriving."
The vision for the cafe first started when Olivia started baking at home while on maternity leave in 2021.
She said her homecooked pies, sausage rolls and particularly her 'old school' cakes with custard and mint proved an instant hit.
Meanwhile, 36-year-old Liam, who works full-time in property maintenance, cooks his own Caribbean food.
On the menu is everything from healthy box meals, where customers can pick their own protein, carb and side, to pies, jacket potatoes and of course, Olivia's famous cakes.
The cafe serves breakfast, lunch, homemade tea and cake.
On Sundays, Delicious Bakes provides Sunday lunch and has a "twist" on Wednesdays where it serves Liam's Caribbean food, which Olivia said is comprised of the "tastiest chicken wings and mutton/chicken and jerk curry".
Olivia added: "I just want people to enjoy their food and the atmosphere, so they can sit and relax here."
Since opening, Olivia said she has welcomed an overwhelmingly positive reaction from customers.
She continued: "I opened my own shop 12 days ago and it's gone off amazing, I'm so overwhelmed.
"Thank you to everyone so much."
The cafe is open Monday to Saturday from 6am until 10pm and 7am until 3pm on Sunday, offering sit in services as well as takeaway and delivery.
