While Manchester boasts an already impressive lineup of bars, none quite offer the experience Simmons does.
Promising the city’s best happy hour and Deansgate’s largest dance floor, it delivers groovy vibes, affordable drinks and an unforgettable atmosphere.
On arrival, you are greeted by a team of roller skate dancers, instantly setting the tone for your journey back to 1980s Miami.
Known for its playful interiors, you are slapped by bright neon lights, bold wallpapers, retro gaming consoles and a skull-shaped disco ball.
Already a staple in London, with more than 20 sites they offer something funky, with live performances stretching from soul, funk, hip-hop and of course disco, and free entry is on every night.
And for those who want to steal the show, there are two karaoke rooms where punters can try match the energy of those performing on stage.
Owner Nick Campbell said: “Manchester leads the way when it comes to nightlife, and we’re excited to be able to be a part of it.
“We are keen to launch as we mean to go on, with a series of high-energy parties, including our famous free bar, which is first come, first served.”
Located at 78 Deansgate, on the ground floor beneath Roxy Ball Room, it is the perfect location for city centre drinks.
Until 9pm Sunday to Friday, punters can pick up two-for-one cocktails, £2.50 spirit and mixers (or £5 doubles), £3 beer and wine, and £12 bottles of wine, plus cocktail teapots for £15 – on Saturdays it’s two-for-one cocktails and £15 teapots until 9pm.
In addition to the drinks, they offer mouth-watering pizzas, each with a unique flavour and perfectly crispy base – ideal for lining the stomach for the night ahead.
Open from October 24, Simmons are offering two free bar launch parties, yes free bar on Thursday 24 and Friday 25.
To sign up to the guestlist for the event you can sign up on their website – Simmons Bar.
