Oldham is set to welcome a 'new dawn' this weekend as a bar with interactive darts and an extensive cocktail and pizza menu officially opens its doors.
Dusk and Dawn bar on Market Street in Shaw, in the former Barclay's bank, held its soft launch last weekend (October 18 and 19) to a "roaring success".
The premises opens to replace what was Bar Vida Viva, a cocktail and tapas bar, which opened in June 2021 but announced its "unexpected" and immediate closure in April this year.

The new bar has had a swanky makeover and says it is "all about the vibe".
Bosses of Dusk and Dawn say they hope to have created a place for residents to "relax and unwind" and "create unforgettable moments".
On the line-up of entertainment, customers can expect live music nights from acoustic sets to DJs and state-of-the-art interactive darts.
As for food and drink, it offers "Shaw's most eclectic range" of artisan cocktails, premium draughts and spirits, craft beer and wines sourced from around the world as well as wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas, prepared with premium ingredients.
The managers said the menu is "designed to bring something new to Shaw" and a unique experience "all under one roof".
The team added: "We hope that Dusk & Dawn can be the spark that starts a new era of vitality in Shaw and Crompton."
On Friday (October 25) the bar will kick off its grand opening with a live performance from Imogen Paige followed by Taylor Dee on Saturday (October 26).
Reacting to the news and sneak peek previews of the place, customers said it looks "beautiful inside" and is looking forward to the opening.
A man said on social media: "Shaw needs something like this. It's annoying having to go to Manchester whenever I fancy a decent pizza and cocktail.
"So glad to have you on my doorstep."
Another added: "Love this. Shaw is 100 per cent in need of a nicer bar like this."
A third wrote: "Good luck, so hope this is a success.
"Shaw needs more places like this opening."
