Oldham Atheltic's head groundsman has lamented the damage caused to playing fields based next to Boundary Park.
Pictures shared on social media show tyre marks on the grass of Clayton Playing Fields.
The playing fields which lie adjacent to Oldham Athletic's stadium, have football pitches which are used by local football teams and members of the public.
The playing fields themselves are maintained by the ground staff at Oldham Athletic, with head groundsman Dean Pickering left frustrated by the damage.
