A man stalked and harassed a woman he was banned from contacting.
Dale Armstrong appeared at Tameside Magistrates' Court on October 1 where he pleaded guilty to one count of stalking involving serious harm and two counts of harassment - breach of a restraining order.
The court heard that on July 17, Armstrong, of Stamford Road, Oldham, made a phone call to the woman, which he was prohibited from doing as part of a restraining order issued in December last year.

The 42-year-old then repeated this crime on September 16, which started a two-week period of stalking.
During these two weeks between September 16 and 30, made phone calls and sent messages which caused the victim distress and affected her day-to-day life.

Armstrong committed he offences whilst he was serving a suspended sentence for crimes that included assaulting two police officers.
In total, Armstrong was jailed for 52 weeks for his offending.
