An Oldham postcode has won on the People's Postcode Lottery with a prize of £1,000 for residents.
The People's Postcode Lottery picks its winners by drawing random postcodes and runs a daily £1,000 prize for a number of areas.
Ticket holders in the Failsworth postcode of M35 9EA will be waking up delighted today (October 14) with their daily prize money.
The winning postcode belongs to players on Stansfield Road.
Subscriptions to the People's Postcode Lottery help support a number of charities around the UK, with at least 33 per cent of the ticket price going to charitable causes.
People's Postcode Lotter manage the lotteries for 20 individual charities which each have one draw a month.
The lottery is hugely popular nationally, and has raised more than £1.1 billion for organisations and projects across the country.
