Trams were suspended earlier today (October 9) due to a 'police incident' in Oldham town centre.
Greater Manchester Police has said the incident occurred at around 2.45pm on King Street after they received concerns for a male.
A spokesperson for the force said: "At around 2.45pm today (9 October), we responded to reports of a concern for welfare of a male on King Street, Oldham.
"A man has been taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries."
Due to a police incident at Oldham King Street, there are no trams operating between Freehold and Rochdale Town Centre.

Trams were unable to run through Oldham while the incident occurred and were suspended from Freehold to Rochdale Town Centre.
Services were running from Didsbury to Freehold with two trams servicing Oldham Mumps to Rochdale Town Centre and Rochdale to Derker.
Bee Network said the service resumed at around 4.20pm with delays.
