A primary school has collected donations for a food bank at its harvest assembly and celebrated its success after its latest inspection.
The Chadderton Preparatory Grammar School, an independent school for two to 11-year-olds, came together with parents, staff, and children to support the Hollins Food Pantry.
The harvest assembly, an annual school event, was "enjoyed by all", and featured student performances and presentations.
This year's theme was "the importance of community spirit and giving back to those in need".
Caroline Greenwood, headmistress at The Chadderton, said: "We were truly moved by the kindness and generosity shown by our school community.
"The donations will make a significant difference to the families served by the Hollin Food Pantry, and we are incredibly proud of our students and their families for contributing to such a worthy cause."
The Hollins Food Pantry, which provides food and essentials to local families, will distribute the donations collected from the event.
The Chadderton also celebrated an "outstanding success" in its recent Independent Schools Inspectorate inspection. The school met all standards set by the Independent Schools Association (ISA).
Ms Greenwood expressed her gratitude to all members of the school community.
She said: "This achievement is a true reflection of the dedication and hard work exhibited by every member of our school community.
"I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our incredible children, devoted staff, supportive parents, and dedicated governors.
"Your unwavering support and commitment have played an integral role in ensuring our school's continued success."
