Bricks and other debris from the wall had poured onto the pedestrian path.

The car also sustained damage to its front bonnet.

The image shows the car's airbags had been deployed.

Witnesses at the scene claim the crash happened after an elderly gentleman had "taken ill" at the wheel, however, this has not been confirmed.

The North West Ambulance service has been contacted to see if there were any serious injuries reported.

Greater Manchester Police has also been contacted for comment about the incident.
