Part of a road connecting Saddleworth and West Yorkshire has been closed following a crash this morning (Monday, September 30).
According to Greater Manchester Police (GMP), part of Huddersfield Road, near the Saddleworth border to Marsden, is closed following a crash between two vehicles.
Police said this morning that they were waiting for a recovery operation to take place and that they were looking to reopen the road as soon as they could.
No one was said to have been seriously injured in the crash.

Sergeant Connor Brook said: "I would like to extend my gratitude to motorists for their patience regarding the ongoing road closure on Huddersfield Road, near the Saddleworth border to Marsden, West Yorkshire.
"Greater Manchester Police are currently awaiting the recovery of two vehicles involved in a road traffic collision, and we are working to have the road reopened as soon as possible.
"Thankfully, no one was seriously injured.

"Please continue to exercise caution while driving in adverse weather conditions."
GMP has been approached for further comment.
North West Ambulance Service have also been approached.
