A yellow warning of heavy rain and possible flooding has been put in place in Oldham for much of today (Monday, September 30).
The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning over the weekend, which initially did not include Oldham but has now been extended to include the borough.
The warning began just after midnight today and will end at 8pm this evening.
It has been warned that the persistent heavy rain poses a flooding risk and disruption to travel.

The forecasters say flooding to a few homes and businesses is possible, while bus and train services will "probably" be affected with longer journey times.

The Met Office said many places will see 20-40mm of rain, while a few areas may receive 60 mm throughout the day.
The weather service said the warning is likely to be updated.
The warning has been issued for parts of the North West and North Wales, while other yellow warnings for rain have been issued for parts of Yorkshire, the East Midlands, Humberside, South Wales and the South West.
