An Oldham teenager has been sentenced for taking a car without the owner's consent and driving it dangerously without a licence.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, took the car without any permission from the owner on May 27 and drove around Oldham.
The teenager, from Royton, is understood to have driven the car dangerously around the borough on roads including Higginshaw Lane, Rochdale Road and Oldham Road.

He was driving the car whilst he did not hold a driving licence or insurance and, whilst driving, he caused damage to road infrastructure.
At Tameside Magistrates' Court on Tuesday (September 24), the teenager pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicle taking and property damage, driving without a licence, driving without insurance and driving dangerously.

He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months and was referred to a youth offender panel for a period of nine months.
A £26 victim surcharge was also issued.
