A fundraising event saw more than £1,000 raised which will go towards a school in Uganda supported by school teacher and fundraising extraordinaire Steve Hill MBE.
At Crompton Cricket Club on Friday, September 13, more than 100 people attended the Team Hill Charity Race Night, organised by Team Hill Charitable Trust, set up by Steve.
The money raised will go towards providing new security, lighting, beds and mosquito nets for Rhinah Primary School in Uganda.

The deputy head at St Joseph's RC Primary School in Shaw said: "It was a fantastic night with lots of fun and laughter whilst raising money.
"[A] huge thank you to everyone who continues to support Team Hill Charitable Trust helping to make a difference in the world, it really does mean a lot."
The trust's next fundraiser will the its Annual Posh Dinner at St Anne's Rugby Club on Higginshaw Road on Friday, October 4.
